Ebba is a woman who many often wonder if she crazy due to how eccentric she is. The woman loves to tell people their future, and is known to be one of the most intelligent wizards of her time so the media says. She is curious, and when she isn’t looking up topics related to the art of Divination, she is reading books. A bookworm by nature, the woman loves to learn and finds that the best things are learned in books. As a woman who may be known to be the crazy Divination professor, she is a woman who knows a lot about the world around her, and could tell you almost anything about the history of the wizarding world.

Despite being the quirky professor who loves to joke with her students, and takes pride in those who aren’t afraid to let your freak flag fly. She expects a lot from her students, and if she doesn’t see you putting your all in. She won’t hesitate to let you know, and hates when pure potential will got waste, and don’t like people who give up, and assume that they do something wrong, because she cares about people, and will do anything to make sure they do well.

Her family is something that means the world to Ebba, and having taken in her grandchildren long ago, she is protective, and is hardest on them.



Ebba grew up as the oldest daughter of witch doctors, and it’s where her love for Divination came from a young age as she would watch her parents take care of people. Although it was safe to say that her love sparked from her grandmother who was the village’s fortune teller as they lived on the outskirts of Mombasa, Kenya. So eccentric magic had always been apart of Ebba’s life who loved it and knew from a young age that she would follow in the path of her family, but things would change when her family had to move to England due to an family emergency that had involved her uncle who was living in America.

Moving to England had been an adjustment for the young girl who missed everything she knew, and it would be weird to see her parents as something other than a witch doctors. Her parents would soon begin working at St. Mungos. It didn’t take long for them to adjust, although people in the neighborhood she lived had thought of her parents as weird. Due to how stories would surf of what they did back in Kenya. Which is something that has stuck with her, and it was something she grew up with.

When she was eleven, she had gone to Hogwarts and was placed into Ravenclaw. A house she took a lot of pride in, and throughout her years she would surface as one of the smartest in her years, and the class she had done the best in was Divinations. And had impressed all of her professors with the two other classes being Charms and Divinations. Hogwarts where she would end up meeting the man who she’d end up marrying, which happened not long after she graduated from Hogwarts.

Graduating from Hogwarts, Ebba had gotten married and got into the business of Fortune Telling, and for a good portion of her life had owned that business. A woman who watched two wizarding wars happen and when she had children, the woman did her best to make sure her children would know about their culture. And one could say she was overbearing mother who wanted to make sure her children were okay. About five years about the war had happened, tragedy had struck the woman because her husband would end up getting killed while traveling in Africa by people who were known Dark Arts practitioners. A death that would end up devasting the woman who also would end up taking the job as Divination professor and was faced with a lot of tradegy during her first year of teaching. In her third year was when she had lost her daughter to her drug dealer boyfriend, who would end up leaving her grandchildren in her care, and one could say Ebba’s overbearing nature took her kids.

The years following her daughter’s death, had been left with Ebba trying to raise her grandchildren with help of her other children. And a promise that she would be a better mother to her grandchildren than she was to her own children. In 2012, the woman would soon become the Head of Ravenclaw, and has now been spending the last couple years watching her grandchildren, and trying to raise students to the best of her ability.
