Lesson two: Veritaserum

Theodore walked into his classroom with a smile on his face. He was very eager about the days lesson. He was going to be teaching the kids about Veritaserum, one of his personal favorite potions. He wrote the lesson on the board and began gathering the supplies as he waited for his class to arrive. Hopefully it would go better than last time and they actually got some work done

Amber fidgeted excitedly, her finger tapping on the strap of her shoulder bag, as she made her way down stairs to the dungeons. Although she always looked forward to Potions class, she was particularly thrilled for this one. It was her first as Professor Nott's teaching assistant. The door was open and she was a few moments early, which meant that she was the first student to arrive. "Hi, Professor," she said, smiling through her barely noticeable nervousness, "Veritaserum? I do rather enjoy making it, I must admit."

Theodore looked up as his teaching assistant was the first to arrive to class "First to arrive. Very promising, Ms Flint." He said noticing a few other students shuffling in "Ms. Black, Ms. Steele, Mr Steele, and Mr Nott. Glad you could join us." He said taking an extra moment to look over his son

Azalea's favourite class was Potions, using them in her creations and even made her own to act like blood for her creations and energy boosts due to how often she stayed up all night. Sauntering into the classroom, lazily saluting toward Amber Flint and the rest of the class, she flipped her hair over her shoulder and fell graciously into her seat. "Veritaserum...Truth potion." She murmured to herself and unwrapped a lollipop, letting it hang in her mouth as she got out her parchment to make notes.

Azalea's Uniform:

James entered potions class just wanting to get his day over with. Then again, he needed the distraction of classes.He took a seat and sighed as he read the board. Veritaserum? Wasn't that a more difficult potion?

Theo noticed one of his own students walked in and eyed her outfit of choice "Miss Rosier, is there a reason you are not in your uniform?" He asked noting the shortne of her shorts and sighed "This is not the way you should be representing Slytherin house, Azalea."

Azalea sighed at the comment about her uniform and walked up to his desk, leaning against it awaiting the possible detention slip. "Well, I'm sticking with the colour scheme of normal uniform. You know, white shirt, black bottoms. I'm also wearing my house colours..." She held up her hand to reveal the emerald green ring and then smirked. "I'm also wearing them somewhere else." Her hand trailed down her front to hint towards her underwear and she realised just how much she was walking a fine line.

Theo frowned "Ms Rosier." He said softly trying to control his temper and a few other things as he filled out the detention slip "Friday night. 5 o clock. My classroom." He said looking at her then gesturing back to her seat 

Scarlett entered class and smiled at the professor. She rather enjoyed potions. She liked the idea of making veritaserum "Hello professor." She said as she took her seat

Just before Scarlett walked into the classroom, Azalea rolled her eyes and leaned down to allow him a glimpse down her shirt. As she leaned down, she took the detention slip with her teeth and sauntered back into her chair. "It's a date." She whispered softly so that no one could hear and fell back into her chair.

Scarlett rasied an eyebrow watching and shook her head "Rosier, keep it in your skirt and off the professors. Stop acting like such a whore." She said shaking her head at the girl

Azalea sighed and looked over at Scarlett with pure distaste. "Keep it to yourself, princess. We all know you're a little beast waiting to get out." She said cockily, grinning as she said this. "Beast in the sheets I bet." Quickly, she got bored of the conversation and worked on her animation until more students would come in.

"Im not a beast. Im a monster. And dont piss me off. My boyfriend is even worse than I am. One pout and a tear from me and he will rip your head off." She hissed at her before laughing "Youll never find out." She said with a wink

Jace was just about to walk into the classroom when he could hear Scarlett saying that she was a monster, but what hurt even more was the fact she said he was worse than her. He stood as clear as day in the doorframe and saw that Azalea had noticed him, a smile upon her lips but instead of backing Scarlett up, he looked towards his girlfriend with a shake of his head and walked away, back to his forest. "Oh snap, princess, you just messed up!" Azalea said, hiding her laugh behind her hand.

Scarlett looked toward the door frame and fear filled her eyes. She ran after him and grabbed his arm "Jace you know I didnt mean that. I just wanted to get her to leave me the hell alone." She said looking up at him with tears in her eyes "Please baby, come on." She said her lower lip trembling as she tried not to cry. Her eyes were switching between there normal green and her wolf gold and she couldnt keep it steady but she was more focused on not losing Jace "Im sorry."

Amber raised her fingers to wave at Azalea in return. She didn't know the other Slytherin well, as they were different years so didn't share a dorm, but the few times they had interacted in the common room, they'd gotten along fairly well. At the drama that unfolded, she said, "any chance we can focus on our educations?" As the Gryffindor followed the newcomer out of the room, she roll her eyes and muttered, "at least it's not going to smell awful in here for the next two hours..."

Jace refused to speak to Scarlett, staring down at her with furious, upset eyes and shook his head. "Get back into class, Scarlett. It was a mistake to come. Don't come to my place tonight, understood?" He simply said, shaking in anger and stared apologetically at the people in the classroom, disappearing from the corridor.

Azalea had to cover her laugh, staring towards Amber who was clearly annoyed by the drama. "Sorry about that, Flint. Gryffindors, amiright?" She said with a wide smile, tapping the table as she waited for the class to begin. She enjoyed the red head who always shared her opinion and whenever they spoke, it was pleasant.

Scarlett had tears falling down her face "Jace." She watched as he left and shook her head. She hated to disobey him, but she couldnt got back to class. Instead she ran for the forest and just decided to run.

Jacob entered the classroom right as the drama went down between Jace and Scarlett. He considered going after his pack mate, but he knew that the other boy probably just needed space, and he also knew that Helena would kick his butt if he didn't go to class in order to try and help out her kid brother. "Sorry to kill that hope, Flint," he said quietly as he breezed past the Slytherin girl so that he could sit beside Azalea. He watched as Amber chuckled at Azalea's words. "I doubt it was all her fault, Z," he said with a roll of his eyes, "you are a certified shit-stirrer."

Theo shook his head at the drama unfolding "Azalea, you know better than to pull that kind of crap. Especially in my class. 10 points from Slytherin. Plus a weeks detention. And before you cry about it being unfair, I will be speaking with Ms Fyre later about her punishment for running out of my classroom as well." He said before beginning the lesson "Now. Who can tell me the main use of veritaserum?"
