new start ((amara))

Roxy had been doing really well this year with staying away from drinking. It was the best thing she could do this time and she knew if her parents found out they'd kill her. She was sitting by the window that looked out onto The Black Lake, and let her mind get loss in the thoughts of all of it. She was going to miss Hogwarts, but she was excited to finally start her own life where she didn't have to be tied to being part of a famous family.

She was lost in her thoughts, and just couldn't wait.

People didn't think highly of her so she was just glad to be able to start over, and hoped people would see that. Although she was ready to do some graffiti within Hogsmeade. The one thing she'd never change about who she was and had no intentions of ever changing that. She was dazed and in her own thoughts.

Until she heard something that got her out of it.

Amara dug in her trunk in her dorm room, searching for a flask that she knew was hidden in there somewhere. Finally, she found it and tucked it into the secret inner pocket of her jacket. She was bored and hoping to find someone to have a little fun with. So, she headed out of the dorm and down into the common room. Once there, she spotted Roxy sitting by one of the windows and looking out it. She looked like she was lost in thought and a smile came to Amara's lips.

She walked over to the other girl and reached out to playfully grab her sides. "Boo!" She said since Roxy seemed to be so lost in thought and completely oblivious as to what was going on around her.

Roxy had jumped once she heard someone say BOO! She turned and saw it was Amara, and the Gryffindor gave her best friend one of the biggest smiles. "You scared me." She had been keeping her distance from Amara since she had been trying to stay clean and she already sensed that Amara was getting ready to drink.

"I see it take you long to drink."

As tempting as it was, Roxy had to be responsible this year. She had already did everything during her Hogwarts year doing the bare minimum this year she needed to change.
