This place is insane (friends of Alayna)

Alayna had entered the portrait for her dorm room and felt her jaw drop. It was an almost exact replica of her bedroom at home except it was Slytherin colors instead of the deep royal purple of her room at home. She made her way across the room and flopped onto the king sized bed and giggled. It was gonna be a great year. She sent a group message on her crystal to her close friends telling them to come see it

Mackenzie was near by when she got the text from Alayna so she turned on her heel to make her way to the head girls dorm. She followed the instructions in the text to open the portrait and stepped inside, "Damn, Alayna. This place is nice." She looked around before jumping onto the bed next to her friend with a laugh, "Comfy bed too."

Luna always dreamed of being able to tour the Head Boy and Girls Dorms, and she was positive that hookups went on in their every time. She walked in and looked around a little bit, she had to admit was it was beautiful, and she saw it even changes with your house colors. "Do the house colors change every year depending on which house the head boy and girl are in?"

Alayna smiled when she saw Luna come in, "I think it does" she said, answering her question, "I love it in here. It's so.... Me." She was so happy that she had made head girl, "I'll have to see if Louis is Hufflepuff coded."

Luna never cared much for being in a position of authority. Mainly because she wasn’t all for spending her nights trolling the castle when she had a Quididtch match to win. Her dedication to Quidditch was immaculate, and she looked around, and she was trying to not think about her encounter with James. “Do you think any of Louis family members will have like special access to this place? How is Louis doing at his job?”

"I imagine he has already rewarded the second years for throwing dungbombs off the grand staircase or something," Ptolemy drawled bitterly, as he caught Luna's question. He gazed around Alayna's new paradise with a smile on his face: if anyone deserved their own space at Hogwarts like this, it was Alayna. "He likely reasoned: 'at least it's in an open space and well-ventilated'..." (He attempted a dreamy, wishy-washy sort of voice as an impression of Louis Weasley) "... and proceeded to invite them to his birthday party."

Rolling his eyes, Ptolemy drifted to Alayna's side and gave her a smile.

"It's about time the faculty gave you recognition."

Atticus was hanging back at first. It had been several years since he had properly spoken to these people, after being locked up in a 'correctional' institution until a few weeks ago. He would have preferred being with Alayna alone, where he wouldn't feel so anxious about others' judgements or questions, but he wanted to please his sister wherever he could. He slipped into the room and hunched his shoulders, as though trying to shrink down below his six-foot frame...

He would just let everyone else have their time with Alayna for now. Best if he kept quiet.

Ptolemy looked like a man now, MacKenzie wasn't a little girl anymore, and Luna had assets all of a sudden. He wanted to tell them how wonderful it was to see them, but the words wouldn't come.

Bellona knew she would be jealous of anyone who had their own room at Hogwarts, but she didn't think she'd be this jealous. Alayna was really showing off.

"It's pretty good, I suppose," she sighed, crossing her arms over her chest and looking around at the others. She rose an eyebrow at the sight of a boy hunched up in the corner, and gave Luna Goode a dirty look.

Luna had looked at Bellona and laughed at her glare. “Giving dirty looks over a stupid kiss?” she said it sounded pretty childish in her book. “If this is about the kiss, how about we drop it. Because we are here to celebrate Alayna.”

She knew it would be the talk of the school. She also knew certain Slytherins would judge her. She wasn't even sure James was even going to follow through.

"You brought up the subject, not me," she said tartly, brushing her hair back off her shoulder. "But seeing as you did bring up the subject... perhaps we should be concerned for your sanity. Or sanitation. Or both."

She wanted to push the subject further, but was distracted when Luna said 'Atticus'. Her eyes moved to the boy who was hunched up in the corner.

Now both of the girls were looking in his direction, Atticus felt a shudder of shame creep over him. His eyes pivoted, and he couldn't meet their gaze. Somehow he unstuck his throat and managed to utter: "Erm, fine. Thanks for asking. Luna."

Luna knew that she committed a sin in the eyes of her pureblood friends. “How is a question of sanity? It was a heat of the moment situation.” she committed, trying to deflect. “I was practicing and he was there.”

How is this questioning her sanity?

“You like This, and we don’t judge you.”

Then again she knew certain purebloods questioned her parentage due what happened sixteen years ago. “I don't even think it will be anything more than a kiss.”

It was James Potter after all.

Alayna smirked at Ptolemy and nodded, "Probably. But play nicely. I'd hate to have to punish you Tolly bear." She said bopping his nice with her perfectly manicured finger. She was about to say more when a movement in the corner caught her eye. Her own eyes widened as she speechlessly ran to her brother, throwing her arms around him as she just stayed silent. If she spoke she would burst into tears.

Idina sat in the big comfy chair in alaynas room chatting with everyone, ""It seems very nice to have a room to yourself here. I miss my big fancy room." She sighed and leaned back, playing with her pearl necklace around her neck

Carina walked into the room and was shocked, "It's almost an exact replica of your room back home. This is awesome." She took a seat on the bed as her cousins reunited, it had been a long time for them. She was rather surprised Alayna was keeping her composure. She leaned over to Ptolemy and whispered, "I'm surprised she didn't know he was back."

As Alayna flung her arms around Atticus, Bellona was broken from her trance. Her attention went straight back to Luna, and her eyes immediately narrowed.

"I practice things too, and sometimes idiots surround me, but that doesn't mean my instinct is to kiss them."

Bellona didn't like James Potter. She didn't like any of that brood, and there were other like-minded people surrounding her. The fact that Luna was being so open about it shocked her, and that no one else had anything else to say about it. Well... Alayna was occupied, she supposed...

"And what exactly would you judge about my being with Melanthius?" she questioned, getting heated.

Although he loved Alayna, adored her, missed her terribly, had thought about her every day while he was away...

Every muscle in his body tensed up as she embraced him. Having close contact with another, at the institution, was punished severely. A slight brush of the hand was a rap on the knuckles. Alayna was his sister, his twin sister, but after three years of harsh punishments for doing something unseemly...

"Hi..." he whispered in her ear, closing his eyes. He wished that he could embrace her back, but he couldn't. He was frozen solid.

Ptolemy's hair fractionally turned lighter when Carina approached him. He smiled at her, and the colour darkened once more.

"I hadn't the faintest clue, either," he responded, before his eyes turned to Bellona and Luna. They appeared to be arguing. As much as he wanted Alayna to only have positive company today, he was focusing in on their argument like a hawk.

layna took a step back and looked at her twin,"We will talk about everything later, yeah?" She cupped his cheek and smiled, "I'm just glad you're home. And you two!" She snapped spinning on her heel to face Luna and Bellona, "There will be no arguments in my room." She meant it too. She wanted her dorm to be a sanctuary from all the tensions of Hogwarts.

Idina watched in silence as the tensions heightened between Bellona and Luna, silly English girls fighting over kissing some silly boy. She would never understand the concept of arguing over a boy. Boys were replaceable.

Hector hadn't the faintest idea why he was invited by Alayna to indulge in her new quarters. As far as he was concerned, a lady's chambers were for her eyes, and his presence would be indecent. However, as he imagined Ptolemy was there, and he needed to talk to him about something, he decided to attend.

He scrutinised the room in distaste, thinking it garish. Then he scrutinised the occupants: Alayna throwing herself over a boy, that dreadful Lestrange girl red-faced and spitting like a cobra at the bastard girl, and Ptolemy with Carina Malfoy...

It was a sorry bunch indeed.

Idina looked up when a new person arrived. She didn't really know this man, but he was charming on the eyes. She looked him over a few times before biting her lower lip. She wanted to approach him, but it would be deemed unladylike. She was a princess, she did not need to approach boys. She however, could not take her eyes off of him.

Luna didn’t want trouble and was here for Alayna. She was her friend and that's all that mattered to her. She ignored Bellona and gave Alayna. “I am here to celebrate you and this beautiful room. Grayson would love this.” she said giving her friend a smile and she looked at Rowle. “How is everyone?”

Carina reached over to Luna to have her sit on the bed with her, "Just ignore Bella, she's in a mood." She said and threw an arm around her fellow blonde, "So I've decided I'm gonna give up on potions. It's just so not my forte. I can be something other than a healer right?"

Luna looked at Carina and nodded. “It was just a kiss and we are allowed to kiss whoever we want.” she sighed. She didn't expect anything more from it. “I want to support Alayna”

She liked the idea of being a healer. “We will all do big things in life. I am going to start Quidditch trials and see if a team will end up taking me.”

She didn't dare mention who her idol was.
