Quest 1! Suspicious circumstances

Hello and welcome! It's a sunny autumn day on the college grounds where your quest begins! Please check the inbox of the tagged character for the briefing so that you know what this is about and what your character knows or has that might help you to solve the mystery of the missing student! For the most part you can treat this like your average thread but when investigating, please have a small cliffnotes version at the bottom of your post of any actions or things that were investigated that you expect me (the questgiver) to be explaning or reacting to. This doesn't have to be every other post! I'll give the information as soon as possible, but please send a little tag on discord too so I know you're waiting for me

One of Xia roommates had gone missing and to be honest she was worried about it. Even yeah when she had talked to others they didn't seem to know anything either.

This whole time she was taking care of her pet hamster, even yeah she literally had to search up how to take care of one in the first place. As she never had any pet hamsters. So far the hamster seems to be surviving.

Anyways what made Xia most worried about all this was how her roommate parents did treat it, that their daughter was missing. That was very spucious. As they weren't at all. It something what makes her think they might be actually involved in it some how. As they seem to think she just left with someone she fell in love or such things. Which was very odd as Xia never saw her with anyone who could be such person in her life.

Anyways today Xia was supposed to meet up with the Auror and see where it all goes. Maybe finally they will find her roommate. Finally figure this out.

It had been a while since Harrison was assigned to lead the investigation for a missing persons case. Typically, he was brought in for murders or cases known to involve especially dark magic. He was more resilient to the emotional toll of using unforgiveables, so he had to be on standby in special cases where the typical means to incapacitate someone for arrest weren't working.

This case was rather peculiar. Everything in the dorm was undisturbed, the parents showed no sign of worry or any feeling regarding their child's disappearance. It was bizarre. He hadn't read up as much on notorious missing cases, so Harrison had very little potential theories to explore. So, he had to talk to Xia and hear how much she knew about her dormmate. Harrison was hoping that if there was a behavior baseline to go off of, he and the Ministry might have a better chance of figuring out the missing student's whereabouts.

He made it to the location on campus where he was supposed to talk to Xia about the case. The sooner they could crack the case, the sooner they could ensure the student's safety. "Hello, I'm Auror Jetson from the Ministry. Are you Xia Chen?"

Xia had made it to location where they were supposed to meet up. She did jump when this older guy approached him, did say who he was and asked if she was who he thinks she is. The girl took a deep breath first before she decided to answer here now.

"Hello. Yes, this is me," she said with a small smile. She wasn't sure what else to say at this point. The girl had never really talked Auror's before like this.
