Oh, how Edith adored the way wizarding technology has gotten more convenient. She used to have to minimize her favorite typewriter everywhere she went, but now she could simply have it revert to normal size with a snap. It was amazing! To her side was a cozy cup of Earl Grey; if she was going to continue serving all of wizarding Britain with cutting-edge stories and headlines, she had to keep her sanity in check. Stirring in some sugar, she hoped to be fortunate enough to get down maybe an impromptu interview or two surrounding social issues that were currently hot topics. She had to gather material for future editions!

She spotted someone entering the tea shop and waved frantically at them. "Hello! Edith Grayson from the Daily Prophet, do you want to be interviewed about the state of our society?"

Dom was purchasing a few tea bags for her father when someone approached her. She raised an eyebrow at the woman and scoffed when she said she was with the daily prophet. She had dealt with this crap her whole life. Not nearly as much as James and Hugo's siblings. But quite alot. And enough to be annoyed by it all. "The state of our society? What is that supposed to mean?"

Seeing that it was one of the Weasleys, Edith smirked. Excellent! Such a name would draw even more readers to the newsstands! She took a sip of her tea before setting it back down. "Oh, you know, what's being hotly debated. Social issues such as creature's rights and house elf welfare, Ministry involvement in everyday lives, the children..."

"I've been traveling for the past 2 years. Not the most daily prophet friendly of places." She said to explain she had no idea what was being discussed. When she listed off her topics she frowned, "House elves should have rights. They are living creatures and slavery is barbaric and idiotic. The ministry should only get involved in things when completely necessary. And just let's kids be kids. Let em go to school and learn." She said listing off responses,

"Traveling, you say?" Edith inquired deciding that this would make a juicier story to write about than those generic answers. Pulling out her pen, she was going to have to pay extra attention to what Dominique was saying. "I know all of Britain is dying to know why you ran off right after Hogwarts. I can write about your experiences EXCLUSIVE to the Daily Prophet."

"that's what I said. Pretty sure I didn't stutter." She said in annoyance. She hated the prophet. She sighed and looked at the blonde woman, "I left for my own reasons. I wanted to see the world. Make it on my own. And I did. But then I missed my family. I missed home. So I'm back." She said simply. She had a feeling the prophet may turn against her or her family if she spoke of her work. And she didn't want that.

"I was a bit tied up with living my own life and my job." She said. She knew the woman was going to ask about her work, and her response would be to fuck off. She didn't have to tell her anything she didn't want to.

Edith rubbed her pen between her palms excitedly; she was in the right place at the right time. "You should've seen all of the publications. Oh, everyone in Britain were worried sick about you. Some thought your disappearance would forever be a cold case..."

"There wasn't much free time. And I wasn't in one place too long. America is a big country. Took alot of time to explore it all." She explained and chewed on her bottom lip. Maybe speaking to her at all was a mistake, "Well lucky for Britain I'm back and alive and well. So they need not worry anymore."

Now she was getting suspicious. She might as well toy with the years of radio silence. "Yet there are those in Britain unaware that you are alive and well. Why don't you provide a statement to publish in the paper that reaches the entire island? After all, you likely have cousins waiting to hear from you... You don't want to let our fellow wizards down, do you?"

So you'll be able to keep up with the Weasleys in full." She said then took a deep breath, "Anymore questions?" She snapped at the woman, her irritation growing higher.

"That's sufficient, thank you." She would've preferred something juicier, but the Daily Prophet did have a higher bar of respectability than most publications within the British wizarding world. More questions, hm? "What work did you do in America?"
