In detention (Open)

It was one of the more standard sorts of detentions. The guy who was watching over them didn't look like he gave much of a fuck either, but whenever someone started talking loudly he'd tell them off or make them stand in the hallway by themselves. Wade and the others were supposed to be doing homework. He did have his papers out in front of him for the effect, but he was glaring outside the window, tapping his foot against the chair in front of him.

It didn't take long for Andy to wind up in one of her first detentions of term all thanks to a cat-fight she had just outside of one of the moving staircases. She couldn't help that one of those blonde twigs was being a bloody bitch; Andy had to show her that she wasn't to be messed with!

Instead of working on her assignments, she was working on spitwads to use in regular classes.

Merlin, he'd forgotten just how excruciating it felt being stuck in detention. Seconds felt like minutes. Minutes felt like hours. Hours felt like days. This was a waste of his time! Why do the authority figures believe this actually does anything? There's always a group of known repeat offenders!

If he was smart, James would've attempted to get high on something beforehand just so he could get some entertainment. He laid his head onto his arms watching as the words on a paper he worked on appeared blurrier and blurrier.
