I’m Good (Open)

Bianca went to her common room and decided to go and take a seat. She needed to find a bit of time herself, and when she did she took it as a liberty to read. She hated this place and wanted a way to escape it.

She sat and took a seat, she stood in her common room and read. One of the few things she could enjoy and she thought about Marco and what he would want right now.

Claudette sighed as she sat in the room. It was a chilly evening and she was happy for the fire that burned happily in the fireplace right by her chair. She had a book open in her hands, enjoying the warmth of the fire and a good book seemed like the perfect way to spend her evening. Then the door to the common room swung open and a younger student walked in. She didn't seem to be in the best of moods, just judging by the way she walked into the room.

So, Claudette didn't speak to the other girl as she sat down on a chair nearby, she just gave the other girl a warm smile before looking back to her book. She took a cookie from the tin that sat on the arm of the chair that she occupied and took a bite from it.

Bianca looked up to see an older girl sitting by her and a grin came from her mouth. "You know your hair looks really pretty by the way?" she asks. Okay that a bad way to start a conversation, but she liked to thinks he was seasoned enough in fashion to have an idea of how it worked. "What are you doing?" she asked hoping to make some conversation right now.

Claudette wasn't sure if the other girl was in the mood for conversation. Many of her fellow Ravenclaws would rather sit with a book instead of talking, but Claudette was a bit more outgoing than some of her other housemates. When the girl complimented her hair, Claudette smiled at her. "Thank you." She wasn't quite as used to compliments because she was one of the ones who tended to kind of fade into the background despite her more outgoing nature. "Just reading a book I brought from home." She answered the younger girl's question. "What are you reading?" She asked, nodding towards the book in the younger girl's hands.

Bianca knew she definitely sounded corny right now but she also didn’t care. “Your welcome I bet you will become a model or something with hair like that.” she grinned as she sat back and grinned. She smiled, “That book looks really good,” she grinned before looking at her own book, “It’s a book on some old wizarding tales. Like Tales of Beedle Bard and stuff like that.” she chuckled.

Claudette smiled at the compliment that the other girl paid to her. "Thank you, I don't think I'm really model material, though. I don't think I could walk in heels if I wanted to." She said with a bit of a laugh. No, she was usually too busy reading or doing one assignment or another. Claudette looked over at the girl's book when she began to tell about it and her smile grew a bit. "I love that book, I've read it at least seven times!" Claudette told her.
