Carina was snogging Louis Weasley. That meant they were definitely back together, then. At least she was safe.

Now for his other sisters... perhaps he should find them. Things were getting a little unsettling, to say the least, and he had no idea where Albus had ran off to. Perhaps he should just go back to the dormitory, and hope that he turned up? No - that would be a cowardly thing to do, wouldn't it? As much as he wanted to get out of the hall, he wanted to know that he was okay.

By coincidence, he spotted Aquila. Running up to her, he touched her arm gently. "Are you all right?" He asked, breathlessly.

Hmm...

"Maybe if we all try it together?" He ventured, taking out his wand gingerly.

He wasn't sure that he knew how to cast 'bombarda' correctly, but it was worth a shot. He directed his wand at the armour and went in sync with Andy: "Bombarda!"

The suits of armor blasted into pieces, and all Andy could do was laugh.

"Now we just have to see if the doors are locked."

Scorpius jolted in surprise as the armour suits suddenly burst into pieces. Although there were a lot of bangs and crashes and voices everywhere that night, it could have alerted someone. He hurried forward to the doors, and tried to open them.

Weirdly enough, they gave way and opened.

"That's odd. I would've thought they would lock it as well..."

Was Riddle really that careless?

"But that means we can get outside! I need to find Albus!" He looked around for his sister.

"Uh... o-okay then..."

So he was going out there. On his own. In the dark. When he really shouldn't be. What if he got locked out of the castle? What if he got into trouble?

He tried to swallow all this down and be brave. He had to remind himself that he was doing this for Albus.

"Thanks. See you."

He walked off onto the grounds.
