Elizabeth has always fascinated by combat, since the first time she saw her mother on set. Since then, she has been training in martial arts, and has taken a strong liking to sword. As she started to go to school, she started to get in fights, and winning handily. It won her the spot of queen of her grade, cause “Don’t let the shiny smile fool you, she’ll break you if you don’t listen.”  When it first started, she got in trouble with the teacher, which then got her in trouble with her parents, some of the few people she actually respected. So then Elizabeth got good about being sneaky about it when she needed to take care of someone who defied her.
On her Eleventh birthday, Elizabeth received her Hogwarts letter. Since then she’s been obsessed with figuring out fighting styles that work well with her new wand, specifically sword styles. She also kept up her other training, so by the time she went to Hogwarts, she was one of the most physically fit first years. There ended up being an encounter on the train with a Pureblood that ended up with the Pureblood having a broken arm, and from there, Elizabeth worked towards becoming queen of the school, learning as much combat magic as she could while keeping up her martial arts studies.

Showmanship has been in the Zatara bloodline for a long time, with the majority of the members of the family having some presence on stage, or it’s relevant modern version. Anita originally ran into her soon to be husband Zigried on a street corner in London, where he was doing card tricks for cash. Anita became fascinated with this muggle who could do things that some magic users wished they could do. The two ended up falling in love and having Elizabeth. Since then, they have been living in downtown London.
