Screw This

Albus had heard that there was an emergency assembly going on, he however decided not to go he did not need to be around everyone morning the death of his aunt. He just would not he able to stand it, he had went up from the Slytherin house like he was going, but had quickly dipped out and headed to the pitch.

Albus thought of grabbing his broom but instead ended up on the stands with his head in his hands, how could auntie Hermione be dead, how could this have happened?' He pondered and wish he knew what had happened maybe he could have prevented it, the boy finally let himself cry now that he was away from his cousins and his brother who he felt like he had to support.

Once he realized Albus was nowhere to be found at the assembly, Darcy immediately ditched it hoping to not have been caught. He didn't want his friend to be going through this alone. He ran to the pitch and noticed his friend was there. Darcy approached him and tapped him on the shoulder.

"Al..?" he questioned frowning.

Ashton decided to skip the assembly and wander the grounds for a bit. When he came to the quidditch pitch he saw a figure in the stands. He was curious so he got closer and saw it was Albus Potter. And he was crying. He stepped up and sat beside him, "Are you crying Potter? I mean... I get it. But people die every day. You gotta get over it." He knew he came off as a prick, but he couldn't help it. He noticed his little Hufflepuff friend but ignored the boy for the most part, "Come on, mate. Do you really think your Aunt would want you crying out here like a girl?"

Albus heard his friend approach but did not look up, he was just at a loss. It wasn't until he heard another voice mocking him for crying that he looked up and glared at the other.

"I bet you would not be saying that if it was your family member who had died," he said his voice rising, his hands formed into a fist and his face turned red with anger. 'How could this boy dare to insult him so, how could he insult their entire family?' he thought to himself, as he stood to his feet.

Darcy furrowed his eyebrows hearing Ashton being a prick to Albus. "What do you have to gain from being an insensitive prat?"

He grabbed Albus' arm to try and prevent him from getting hurt even though he wouldn't blame him for getting back at that mean guy.

"Now see that's where you're wrong. If it were my family, I wouldn't give a flying Thestrals ass. I would throw a party." Ashton wasn't one for family. He only cared about power and getting action from the girls of Hogwarts. When he saw Albus ball up his fists he chuckled, "Gonna hit me, Potter. Wouldn't be fair. I can't hit a gay dude. Hate crime or some shit." He raised an eyebrow at the Hufflepuff and rolled his eyes, "I don't need to gain anything"
