The office had a nice intimate, cozy feel to it. There were fairy lights adorning the walls, essential oils being diffused for relaxation, and posters of inspiring and motivating quotes spread among the walls of the room. She found a new purpose in her life: helping current students out when it comes to life, career, academics, and just about anything they may need to vent or talk about.

Hermione had come up with some office hours for both walk-ins and private appointments; she even made sure to have a comfy waiting area in front of her room.

"Come on right in," she greeted softly with a smile to the student looking into her office.

Ingrid stepped into the room and sneezed as she got a face full of essential oils, lavender and bergamot she could tell immediately from how thick the scent hung in the air.

“Hey aunt Hermione.” She gave her a cheery grin and a wave, they weren’t related by blood but she’d spent enough time at her house growing up that she considered her family. “How are you settling in? Must feel weird being back at school.”

She perked up seeing that it was Ingrid. Waving at her, Hermione invited the young girl to sit down.

"It's been quite interesting... I've moved in practically overnight. Haven't told my children yet as I wanted to surprise them!"

Nothing like last minute employment offers. "Want me to brew some tea?"
