experimentation ((open))

Instead of utilizing the maze for its intended purpose, Victoire had settled into one spot of the maze trying to see what would happen if she were to infect the corn stalks with Ustilago maydis. Would she get in trouble? Possibly, but she would just brush it off as her wanting to push herbology, well mycology, studies further.

"Oh, don't mind me, I'm playing around with my spores!" she exclaimed to the person whose shadow had just joined her overhead.

Carina was exploring the maze a bit when she saw someone kneeled down near the stalks "Your spores?" Carina asked in a confused tone of voice. She figured the girl was referring to herbology, which was not her best class.

"Fungi! You know, I accidentally turned my tongue into a mushroom once! Luckily, St. Mungo's was able to call their in-house herbologist in to create an antidote as I didn't have the foresight to make one beforehand!"

Victoire gave a wide, cheeky smile at the other girl. "Do you like mushrooms? I once tried eating one of those, oh uh, magical mushrooms once. I saw sooo many vivid colors!"

Oops, she should probably introduce herself.

"I'm Victoire!"

Carina chuckled lightly at the girl, she was a lot of energy for sure, and she seemed nice enough. When she introduced herself it hit her that this was Louis sister, "You're Victoire Weasley?" She asked wanting to make sure she had the right person, or if it was just someone with the same name.

Victoire nodded excitedly as if she was some dumb dog blindly obeying their owner.

"Sure am! The one and only Victoire!"

She showed the girl a handful of spores in her hands. "Check out these spores! They'll be very happy spores once they're with the corn!"

"It's a pleasure to meet you. I've heard a bit about you from your brother. I'm Carina, by the way, Carina Malfoy." She wasn't sure if Louis had told his sister about him and her yet, so she didn't add that they were dating. When Victoire showed her the spores she chuckled "I take it you like herbology." The girl reminded her of Abeline Steele.

"Oh, you're the one girl he's been dating or something!"

She never cared too too much about relationships.

"Mycology in particular! What do you call a mushroom at a party? A fungi!"
