Well Carmen needs her half--brother, basically maybe he would be one of her family members who will accept her as who she is. Her father doesn't care about her at all, her step-mother doesn't know he even exists. So is her half-brother actually.

Not sure how she will think about Carmen but her life and personality up to taker.
