Rhesus was very much enjoying his time that was spent with his father as well as his sister. Today though Rhesus was going to do some of his own shopping. His sister had decided that she would go have and fun in Diagon Alley, while Rhesus would spend his time doing some of his own shopping and getting his father a gift. So shopping alone would seem to inevitable since Syclla would end up blabbing about the gift and he entered an apothecary that his father knew the owner of. The man would be sure to give him a good deal and the man was the type to haggle. He walked into the shop walking over to some potions that he knew would definitely fit with his father's endeavors and with a smirk on his face, he began reading the labels.

Cernunnos found himself going on a bit of a shopping spree in Knockturn Alley. Ah, the perks of having a rich boyfriend... He decided to might as well find his father something nice outside of the usual cheap Muggle store novelties. Entering the apothecary, Cernunnos nodded at the shop owner and began examining the products to find something his father would love. He saw a brief glance of Rhesus and shrugged choosing to not draw too much attention to himself.

He placed a potion down letting out a small smirk, perhaps he could find an illegal potion. Rhesus had carried a stash of illegal things with him everywhere he went. His father had been the type of man who dealt with the black market, and he thought maybe he could buy one of them, since buying illegal things had been common. Not really noticing that someone had glanced at him until looking up letting out a small smirk. "Didn't know you shopped here Largo."

"Once in a while. I tend to stay more in the fashion side of Knocked Up, I mean Knockturn, more. I actually have a punch card at the nail salon! Get 9 punched, the tenth one is free!" Cernunnos replied giggling. "Came here to find father a gift. You?"

He only ever shopped in Knockturn Alley and had many of the shopkeepers under his wing. "Right I forget that you are the fashionista of the snakes." flashing him a grin. Rhesus was much more strict than his sister Scylla who was much more open-minded. Although he didn't have anything against Cernunnos. "Let me guess Diagon Alley doesn't have nail salons?" asked Rhesus. Not that he really cared. "I am doing the same for my father."

Cernunnos grabbed a vial of a potion ingredient and examined it. "Yep! That's me! I'm also the Slytherin party animal. I go to like every party!" he added smiling. "Well, they sorta do, but it's not as good as the one here..."

"Honestly any party thrown by a Slytherin is going to be good," he said with a smirk on his face. "Just look at the Slytherin party that was thrown before the break. Certainly made headlines." Rhesus examined another potion and glanced up at Cernnunos. He smirked at his comment about not being as good, nothing in that alley could top Knockturn Alley. "Nothing will top the places that are in Knockturn Alley."

"It only made headlines because Harry Potter decided to interrogate Azazel! If anyone else did, it would've been swept under the rug as with any other school scandal the past few years," he replied. "Duh! I have been frequenting Knockturn since childhood, I'd know."

"Yeah well, all this is going to get all these death eaters arrested. Which means my father would end up in prison at this rate," said Rhesus who disliked the idea of his father going to prison. His father was still a death eater and had been trying to induct Rhesus into becoming one which he planned on doing once he graduated. "Haven't most of the Slytherins spent their childhood here, Largo?"

He shook his head shrugging. "I dunno about that, Rhesus. Apparently some columnists working for the Daily Prophet crucified Harry for questioning Azazel," Cernunnos said. He stuck the vial into the reusable shopping bad he had charmed to be bottomless. "True... I was raised in the Muggle world though so my dad wouldn't go to Azkaban for being a Death Eater in Voldemort's time. I dunno how he managed to not get arrested for that allowing me to be born though."

Rhesus looked at him for a tiny second as he sighed. "Doesn't make much of a difference. The Death Eaters ran it before, and it only came out from underneath them." as much as the boy wanted the DE to run the ministry. He knew that it wouldn't last long as every time something that happened it ended up failing. "That must have really sucked dealing with mudbloods. They probably are not even as smart as the wizards are," said Rhesus with a tiny smirk. "People have their ways of doing things I guess."

"To be fair, the order was also rather prestigious at the time. I dunno if that's the case today as you never hear about Death Eater related crackdowns," Cernunnos replied. "It honestly wasn't even that bad. I got to access all the cool technology pure wizarding folk didn't have until recently." It definitely wasn't the time to mention that his dead mother was one of those mudbloods Rhesus spoke of. Cherry happened to be a mudblod, and she was probably smarter than the Slytherin right in front of him.

Rhesus rolled his eyes at the comment, "Well anything that supports the idea of believing that the muggles and wizards could live together is stupid." sneered the Slytherin looking at Cernunnos. "Well, that's good to know that you got the beta mode with using technology before the wizarding world," said Rhesus who despite being against muggles, the boy still enjoyed using technology like any of the other wizarding kids did.

"How do you think most half-bloods exist? Asexual reproduction? Artificial uterus thingy?" Cernunnos asked curious as to what Rhesus would say. He never got the whole hating Muggles thing, but that was probably because he went to school with Muggles and happened to live in the same neighborhood as them. "Yeah! I had a CD player, and I listened to a lot of Britney Spears. Have you ever heard of the wise words of Britney Spears? I like to say that before I'm a Slytherin, I'm a Britney fan."

He didn't really like half-bloods and didn't like anyone that wasn't fully a wizard. "I know how they exist. You think that us purebloods don't know how kids are made?" said the Slytherin with a smirk. "That's nice to know, I simply listen to music on my phone like most wizard children do. I never really like Britney Spears."

He frowned hearing Rhesus' response. "That wasn't what I was implying. Do you feel threatened because half-bloods happen to outnumber pureblood witches and wizard?" Cernunnos wondered. "If everyone tried to keep the blood pure, we'd all be inbred and about to go extinct..." He had a bit of an idea. so he hoped he didn't come across as a idiot. "Everyone used CD walkmans and mp3 players and stuff like that before playing music exclusively on phones."

Rhesus let out a laugh as he was going try to hide the fact that he was sort of scared, "No why would I be scared. I'd like to think as long as they don't take all the hot girls, were good." smirked the Slytherin. "Not all of us inbreds and whether you like or not there are a lot of pureblood families that no one knows about. Sure some death eater families are inbreds, but that's it." sighed the Slytherin who knew that his mother had been a vampire. "Yeah, I am aware of that. I may be a purist, but I still look up history on the internet." Rhesus said smirking.

"Isn't beauty subjective? What you consider hot others may not, so I don't think you'll have to worry about that as long as you have a good personality!" Cernunnos replied with a small smile unsure of how to deal with Rhesus' views. He decided to brush off the whole part regarding inbred families. "We only got the Internet a few years ago in the wizarding world. Hogwarts still doesn't technically have computers and stuff you know."

Rutuk was still adjusting to all of this. What was going on? All of the movements and transitions. First there were the strange letters, then there was all of this magic. He had a feeling this would be a lot tougher than he expected. He was mostly familiar with the scientific world, so why was he here now? Even those small creatures, goblins? Even they seemed to know he was coming. He knew he'd have to be on his guard, but all this "magic" of this "Knockturn Alley" was getting to him. He had to find some method to this madness. The science had to be somewhere. He found himself wandering into the apothecary. If there was science, it was here. He Picked a bottle off a shelf and gave it a sniff. He recoiled at the scent. "Ok, that was strong..."

Rutuk picked up another vial and examined the labels this time. Reading slowly and closely, language remained the same here at least. He overheard two teenagers talking, he was reluctant, but any conversation was fine. He did some subtle eavesdropping while studying the concoctions. He had been there from the point of discussing parties, he was able to deduce the blood statuses, and the Death Eater things described the rush and wary of the folk out side. Then there was the discussion on their preferred mates. Apparently that had a lot to do with blood status. Purebloods seemed of high value. Rutuk decided to experiment with that stick he got earlier, wand was it? "How do I work this thing?" He firmly grasped it with both hands. "Wait, maybe I could..." He pointed the wand into a vial and tried thinking about what he did next. While thinking he discharged magic into the vial which sent it flying and it bounced off of a wall and landed on the floor right side up. Of course that was by the two talking teens. Rutuk glanced around and hid the wand behind his back. "Please don't notice..." He whispered to himself.
